This was our first time leaving Apollo with a dog sitter, and I was honestly a bit anxious at first because Apollo tends to get nervous in new environments. But Joel made the entire experience so easy and stress-free! Apollo quickly became comfortable with Joel, and it was wonderful to see him getting along so well with the other dogs. Joel truly cares for the dogs as if they were his own, and it shows in the attention and love he gives them. He also kept us updated with plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When I picked Apollo up, he looked so happy and comfortable that he almost didn’t want to leave! That says everything. We’re incredibly grateful for the excellent care Joel provided and would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend!

I definitely recommend Joel as a pet sitter! They took excellent care of Lulu, providing lots of love, attention, and updates throughout her stay. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my Lulu was in such caring and responsible hands. Lulu was happy, comfortable, and well cared for when I returned. Fantastic experience! Our huskies, Kona (8) and Luna (14) were hosted for daycare for a few hours while we were in NYC. Communication was excellent, they were very responsive, and our girls were well cared for the entire time. Kona and Luna came home happy and relaxed, and it was clear they had a great time. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Schedule
Pet care is an important part of my daily life. I’m currently participating in a research program at NYU Langone focused on improving mobility in my right arm. I attend physical therapy twice a week, which allows me plenty of free time and flexibility for walks, playtime, and boarding throughout the week and weekends. My routine gives me the perfect balance — time to stay active, care for pets, and provide consistent attention to every pets I host or visit.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment that’s perfect for sitting and boarding. Our building includes a secure fenced yard, and we’re just minutes from two nearby parks, both with dedicated dog runs — great for exercise and playtime! The area has plenty of trees and safe pedestrian walkways, making every walk enjoyable and safe. Communication is key to building trust. I provide frequent photo and video updates during each stay or walk so you can see your pet safe, happy, and cared for every step of the way. Whether at my place or yours, I always respect each pet’s personality, schedule, and comfort level to ensure they feel safe, calm, and loved.
A typical day
Cuddles and affection are non-negotiable in my home! 🐶💛 A typical day includes fun walks through the park, games of fetch or tug-of-war, and playtime to release energy and keep tails wagging. If your dog enjoys socializing, I can bring them to one of our nearby dog parks to meet friends and explore safely. After plenty of exercise, we wind down with some relaxing time, belly rubs, and love. I always keep owners connected with their pets while they’re away. I send regular photo and video updates throughout the day — whether your dog is playing, eating, napping, or going to the bathroom. My clients love seeing their pets happy and active in real time! My goal is to make every stay fun, active, and stress-free — for both pets and owners.
