I am currently doing volunteer work on Monday and Tuesday mornings. I could help in the afternoons and evenings on those days. I have open availability on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and weekends. Those days can be during the mornings, afternoons and evenings.

All pets need clean water and food spaces. I scoop my own litter boxes daily! I have a cat on a special diet that has some special needs and she is thriving. I had dogs most of my life but married a cat person 6 years ago! I love both and enjoy caring for animals and meeting their needs. I have 15 years of experience caring for children with special needs as well. Caregiving is in my wheelhouse!

I’d ask about any behavior concerns the dog has and how the owner wants me to work together with them as a team to help the dog learn through consistency. I want to know what’s the dog’s favorite toy and activities. I also want to know how the dog gets into trouble and what is off limits so I’m consistent with the owner so the dog isn’t confused.

I take dogs for walks around the neighborhood for a good, long exercise. I like to play with dogs to give them a lot of attention. I’ll ask about what the dog’s favorite toy is and how they like to play with it. Every dog has their preferences!

I’ve taken care of my parent’s dog on the weekend for years when they went on vacation, My parents have relied on me to to feed, walk, and play with the dog. I currently care for 8 cats and enjoy them very much.

Joe is a super reliable and loyal person. He is always on time and is very friendly and positive. He has experience caring for large dogs, cats and chickens. He’s very experienced in caring for people with special needs and can help an animal that needs special accommodations. Joe notices things that other people do not notice because he is deaf. He has a heightened visual ability to notice things others miss. He reads lips well and can communicate through texting anything you want him to know.
