I work from home so rarely dog would need to be crated. I pet sit for my friends and have fostered from local animal shelter. I love dogs and have plenty of love to share. I live in Vernon.

Joanne and her family provided a home away from home for our pups. She gave us so many updates and photos, which helped with us being away from them. They came home happy and tired from all the playtime. We would definitely book with Joanne again!

This was our first experience with Joanne. We had never used the Rover site but had a last minute need for a week of boarding. Joanne was so great as we coordinated a meet and greet. We could tell right away that she was a calm, organized, and personable person who loves dogs! Our dog took to her right away and shadowed her much of the time of her stay. Joanne sent us daily pictures with a note about how our dog was doing and was very responsive to any concerns we had. She took care to understand and honor our dog’s personality, behavior, and boundaries. Despite her own dog not needing leash walks to do her business, Joanne took ours for regular potty walks in below zero weather!! What a good humored trouper!!! We will be contacting Joanne for future boarding!!
I am so thankful for Joanne and the wonderful care she provided for our 16 yo pup, Ginger! Grateful for the wonderful home environment she welcomed Ginger into while we were gone. Appreciate that she works from home allowing her to be more available to tend to pups’ needs. Joanne kept in touch with us by sending occasional updates and pictures giving us peace of mind the entire trip. Thankful she was able to be flexible when we encountered travel related issues. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!!

Schedule
Working from home gives me flexibility to take outside as needed. Dogs get outside multiple times per day so they get some energy out. This could be a walk, playing fetch or walk around property to sniff out their new surroundings. Unless requested dog would only be crated if I was not home for a short period of time.

Your dog would get plenty of love, snuggles and attention. I have a big house so they can get zoomies out running around. I have a large unfenced yard but would always be on a leash unless owner felt dog did not require.

A typical day
We will play with toys inside. Dogs love walking around our backyard and sniffing for the squirrels and bunnies. We will take walks in our neighborhood as well.
