Experienced In-Home Dog Care
I’m an experienced in-home dog carer with a background in both veterinary practice and dog day care, offering calm, reliable, and attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m confident caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and needs. I’m trained in Pet First Aid and CPR, fully insured, and DBS checked, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe, capable hands. Your dog’s health and safety are always my top priority, and I’m experienced in following structured routines, including feeding schedules, medication, and individual care plans. Alongside my professional experience, I’ve owned a German Shorthaired Pointer, which gave me a real appreciation for the exercise, consistency, and attention dogs need to feel happy and secure. I understand first hand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a calmer environment, I tailor my care to suit them. I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away, and I treat every dog with the same level of care and attention I’d expect for my own.

I provide calm, consistent, and genuinely caring support in your dog’s familiar environment, helping them feel safe, relaxed, and well looked after. Dogs are often happiest in their own home, surrounded by familiar comforts like their bed, toys, and routine, and I aim to ensure both your dog and home are in capable, caring, and experienced hands.

Jo was absolutely fantastic with our dog Truffle. He can be fussy with people but his connection with Jo was immediate. She sent us regular photo and video updates of Truffle's wonderful long walks and he's been a very happy bunny during his time with her! We'll definitely be using Jo's services again. Thank you Jo! 🐶

We had such a wonderful experience with Jo. She was so lovely from the start, great communication and made us feel really at ease. Our little Benny had the best time with her, even though she stayed at our house, we felt like he was having a little holiday as she took him on some lovely days out and kept giving us such lovely updates. I would highly recommend Jo and we will certainly be booking her again!
Joanne was lovely from start to finish of our booking. As soon as I met Joanne I felt totally at ease about leaving George and Fleur with her and also in our home. Regular updates and pictures recieved, even a lovely card and treats left at the end of the stay, which was so kind. We would have no hesitation in having Joanne stay with George and Fleur again.
We had such a great experience with Joanne, she was reliable, caring and clearly loves what she does. Our dog was happy, relaxed and well looked after all in his own surroundings and home. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.
Joanne is a great sitter for Ted ( German shorthaired Pointer ) she is a great communicator and sends frequent pictures and updates of Ted on his jolly’s, She really goes above and beyond - even leaving toys and home made treats for Ted which he absolutely loves ❤️ The house is always immaculate on our return and she even waters the plants!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and Ted would say the same 🤗

Dates de la garde
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m caring for. I only work two short shifts a week (around three hours), which allows me to be very flexible and provide consistent care throughout the day. This means dogs are rarely left alone for long periods, and I can maintain regular morning, midday, and evening walks, along with feeding times and plenty of one-on-one attention to help them feel settled, comfortable, and secure.
