We had the absolute pleasure of having Joanna S. care for our entire farm—including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese—while we were away for over a week. Caring for a working farm is no joke and it's not easy to leave such a diverse group of animals in someone else’s hands, but from the moment we met Joanna, we felt completely at ease. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in getting every detail right. During our walk-through, she took thorough notes, asked great questions, and made sure she understood the unique needs of each animal—some of which are not easy to manage. Her calm and caring approach made a big impression on us. While we were away, Joanna was incredibly reliable. She showed up on time for morning and evening duties, stayed in touch regularly, and even sent us pictures of our animals. It’s clear she didn’t just follow instructions—she really cared about how our animals were doing. That kind of attention and thoughtfulness is hard to find. What stood out most was how much heart she put into it. Joanna didn’t treat this like just another job. She treated our animals like they mattered, like they were part of her own family. And that gave us real peace of mind. We will absolutely be hiring her again, and we recommend her without hesitation to anyone who needs a responsible, capable, and caring pet sitter or dog walker.
