Your Pet's Safety Is My Priority
Pet care experience
- I run Wildflower Pet Sitting and Dog Walking LLC - I do everything in my power to keep your pet safe and happy while you’re busy or away. I do this in several unique ways such as bringing my own comfortable, sanitized, and secure harness and leash to each dog visit, using GPS tracking during walks, and tracking all client keys in my possession. I'm bonded, insured, background checked, and trained in pet first aid. - Before starting my own company, I had many years of experience working professionally as a pet sitter for a different pet sitting company. - I've cared for dogs and cats, as well as a chickens, fish, birds, and even a sweet pet pig. - I've taken care of really young puppies and kittens, as well as senior pets.
Reviews
Joanna does great with our 5 month old, high energy pup. Tilly doesn't even care that we left her when she is there. She is super relaxed and loves the walks Joanna takes her on. Joanna is super caring and sends up pictures while we are away.
Very good experience, good communication, was also understanding and worked around my schedule. Did everything I asked for and more! Would definitely hire her again.

Information Joanna M. would like to know about your pet
If your pet(s) has any specific needs you'd like me to know about ahead of time, feel free to reach out! I'd love to have a chance to meet you and them, and to tell you a bit more about Wildflower Pet Sitting and Dog Walking LLC during one of our free Meet and Greets.
A typical day
For dog visits, I bring them on a fun long walk. I always attach a small, light GPS tracker to their collar (or harness) for an added layer of safety. On each visit, I take a moment to ask them to sit, stay, and come. I do this in fun, creative ways so it feels like a game for your pet. It's not only a fun little activity for them, but it also helps keep their mind active, and helps them associate those words with something they really enjoy. It adds another little layer of safety to our walks. For cat visits, I always take some time on each visit to play with them with some of their toys to help them have a bit of fun exercise for their body and mind. If you have a really shy cat, though, who hides when people come around, I'm careful to only interact with them up to their comfort level. After several visits they might be comfortable enough to come out to play, but if they’re never ready that’s fine too. I'm there for them if they ever decide to come out and visit.
