I'm a HUGE animal lover and I've been a trusted, successful pet sitter for numerous people over the years. I'm reliable, clean, and respectful in others' homes, and I generally just enjoy heaping love and affection on furry friends. I also love taking animal photos and will happily send text updates with pics. If your young or athletic dog needs more physical activity, let me help! In addition to neighborhood walks/jogs, I love getting outdoors and trail hiking. For home visits, I'm happy to offer other fun activities, like brushing and grooming or playing fetch or tug. While not a dog owner myself, I have lived with dogs before and I have ample dog sitting and walking experience--including a wide range of breeds, sizes and ages. Okay, on to KITTIES!!! I grew up with cats and have always been a ᓚᘏᗢ lover since childhood. I just "get" them. And since cats always know a cat person in their midst, I make friends easily. For home visits I don't rush in and out but make sure to spend quality time with your meow baby--giving good scratches, playing with toys, brushing, etc. (Note: I had a cat of my own for 16 years--the marmalade tabby in my profile pics.) I have experience with senior, chronically ill, and special needs dogs and cats, including giving oral medications. I haven't administered injections but would be happy to learn. Other critters I have experience caring for include bunnies, indoor birds, chickens and goats. Overall qualities that describe me as a sitter are experienced, professional, reliable, detail-oriented, communicative and caring.
