I am very respectful to your pet as I realize I am in their home. I will do whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable and well taken care of. I am certainly not above treat bribes (if allowed) to make friends. With over 16 years of experience as a veterinary nurse, you can trust me to alert you to any problems I observe as well as treat any current medical issues. I am also very aware of heat intolerance in dogs, especially in our short nosed friends. I will take the best possible care of your babies!

I have cared for lots of animals in my 16+ years as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, including all sizes of dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, pocket pets, and large animals. I offer a unique mix of genuine love and affection combined with an advanced medical skill set. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets, and offer advanced at home nursing services (fluid therapy, doggie massage, etc.) for an additional rate. I am skilled in the management of diabetic dogs and cats, and can administer any medications (including insulin) as needed. I currently work Fridays as an Emergency/ICU veterinary nurse. You can be assured that I will treat your babies like my own. I truly love animals and have dedicated my life to taking care of them!

Don't hesitate to go with Joie. Recently, I had an emergency come up that meant instead of being away from home for 2 or 3 days as planned, I had to be away for over 2 weeks and Joie's quick accommodation and reassurance eased my mind during that very stressful time. Beyond that, animals love her. She has a calm, confident way that charms people and pets alike. My cat will rarely even show her face if others are around but will come out and greet Joie. To top it off, Joie's experience as a vet tech is so valuable. Knowing that someone with a skilled eye is caring for your dear animals is truly comforting. Like I said, don't hesitate.
Joie is the most wonderful person and anyone would so lucky to have her take care of their pets. I have been so fortunate to know her. Not only is she so loving with pets, she has been a vet tech for a long time and will be able to help your pets if there is an emergency while under her care. Joie is the first person that I always think of when it comes to my dogs. You cannot get any better then Joie!
