Pet care experience
I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. We live on 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres for giving your pet some exercise. Our property is not fenced but we do not let our pets out by themselves. We live in a rural area and often take my dog on long walks. I would take your dog on walks as well based on what your dog is used to. Your dog will go outside several times a day. I would love to give your dog a loving, carefree environment to stay in while you are away. If you need someone to watch your dog while you are at work let me know. I am also willing to come to your house to let your dog out or walk it if you prefer. Why I love dog sitting I have liked dogs since I can remember. I grew up with dogs mostly shepherds. Since my husband and I got married 30 years ago, we have not been without a dog. Our dogs have been rescue dogs. I also fostered a dog that someone got at a shelter and was going to take back. I said I would take the dog and find a home for it. My daughter ended up taking the dog. About my yard We have 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres. Our yard is not fenced but we do not let our dog out without one of us with her. We have grass and some trees in the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, just give me the administration directions. We had a dog that was on daily oral medication and at one time on eye drops.

JoAnn and her husband were great with my senior dog. The response time was very fast with all communications. They told me what info was needed on the rover website before drop off. Rover seemed to like it and was not stressed when he came home. Will use JoAnn again.
JoAnn was wonderful. I was so happy to leave my little guy in her care. Both her and her husband were pleasant souls. There were other dogs that my AJ enjoyed being around. He even cried on our way back him after picking him up. It seemed she groomed him as well. Something just seemed different and nice about my pup when I picked him up. She communicated well. Updated me and kept me at ease.
We appreciated that JoAnn kept us updated on our dog. She let us know when there was a problem and asked for our input. She was very kind and gracious to us and to our dog.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a rural area and I often take my dog for walks in the area. I can do the same for your dog if you so desire. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Will have cushions by the couch and by the bed. If your dog is used to a crate please bring it with you. Time I'll spend with your dog I am semi-retired so will be home most of the time. I do have a part time job where I am gone a few hours during the day. Time I'll spend with your dog If it is in your home I will be there most of the day. It is per night so I would arrive around 4 pm and after the last night I would leave around 11 am the next day unless prior arrangements have been made. All correspondence will be made through Rover. I do work part-time a few hours a couple of times a week. If it is more of a day care situation then it will depend on what your dogs needs are. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I can do that
