I'm Jiyoung, I go by Ji/Jo/Joelle. 🇺🇸Former USAF Security Forces service member with a love for K9s. 🇰🇷 Originally from South Korea, I've lived in the East Coast (NJ/NYC/DC), England, and Houston before moving to Dallas for SMU. 💼 I juggle between running my small business in events marketing- Elpisphere, bootstrapping my pet treat startup called Aribaro, raising for my femtech startup-Juvno, and pursuing MBA studies at SMU focusing on Real Estate, Consulting, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. 🏃♀️ An avid walker and pilates student, I'm all about staying active and embracing new adventures. This was my very first-time using Rover for pet sitting services. I don't have enough words to describe how happy I am to have found Jiyoung. To provide some context, Toro is a 10.5-year-old pug. While he's healthy and active, we all know older dog may require additional attention and they may have a more challenging time adapting to a new environment. Fortunately, Jinyoung made it possible for Toro to feel comfortable during the 6 days I was out of the country. She took the time to provide daily updates, including pictures, of Toro, which made me feel more at ease. I highly recommend her!
Thank you for making all of us feel so comfortable leaving our baby with you! We trust you & know that rebel had an amazing time being there! He loves playing with Grover and now he has a new friend to look forward to seeing :)

Nothing short of amazing!! Attentive to my Cane Corso Voyage and Shih Tzu Vintage. She updated me regularly with pictures and key notes regarding their day. I’ve never felt so comfortable away from fur babies until they were in her care.
Ji was an excellent dog sitter. She went above and beyond for our elderly dog who needed special care. She was friendly, caring, on time, and a great communicator.

Schedule
I work at home most of the time in Dallas if I don’t have class. I travel often but it is scheduled in advance so I block out in my calendar. I am an early riser, get up before 6am Monday-Friday and 8am on weekends.

I live in a quiet, neighborhood community in Uptown near the Katy Trail. I communicate very well with my clients based on when I’m on the way, eta, and arrival.
A typical day
I love going to the park and walking around Katy Trail. I really enjoy playing with pets and go on long walks (if allowed) with them. If there is a local event for furries, would love to take them along if allowed.
