I am a lover of animals and have been a dog and cat owner my whole life. Although I do not have any formal certifications, I have an understanding of animal behaviour and their needs. My biggest priority when owners are away is that your pets are safe and cared for. I am available for dog and cat care. When it comes to cats, I can sit and pet them if they are open to that, or lightly groom and play so they don’t feel alone when you’re not home. When it comes to dogs, I am available for long walks or slow runs. I'm 64 and recently retired so I have a good amount of availability.

I want the owner to know that I am trusting person and will prioritize your animals safety and well-being at all times-whether its dropping in on your cat, or exercising your dog - safety and your animals well-being will always be the priority.

I am able to work with any behavioral issues that your pet might have and am willing to work with owner to accomidate the animals needs. In order to make sure your dog is safe, I would prefer not to work with large strong dogs (80 lbs and up) if the owner wants the dog to be taken out on walks. I am a small woman and would never want the dog to get away while in my care, but I am fine with bigger dogs if it's for drop-ins or some backyard fetch. I am not able to administer medication.
A typical day
For dogs, I am able to take them out on walks in your neighborhood and if you would like them to get more exersice, I can also take them on a run. I can also play fetch. For cats I can pet and play with them, I can even brush them. Whatever your cat prefers, I can accomidate their needs. For all pets I can offer lots of love and affection and make sure they are cared for and comfortable.

Availability
I'm 64 years old and just retired this year. My availability is pretty open 5 of 7 days a week. I care for my grandkids from 10-3:30 on Thursday as well as take my 91-year old father out for errands from 9-3 on Friday.
