When I come over for an initial visit with you and your pet, I will ask questions such as "what is your pets routine?" "what is your pets favorite toy?". Also things about their behavior in different situations and always the basics such as where the all important food bowl is!
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Heart Strings Petsitting offers 30 minute visits (upon request we would love to stay and spoil your pet for longer). For dogs we usually schedule one visit in the morning and one in the evening. The visit will include a leashed walk, food and water replenishment, changing lights etc and plenty of fun playtime. Extra house-sitting services Making your home have that lived in look while you are away is essential. Turning lights on/off, opening and closing blinds, picking up your newspaper/mail and watering plants. All at no extra charge to you.

Hi, my name is Jewlie. I have been a Veterinary Technician for over 11 years now. I started the business when my son was born 10 years ago. I wanted to be able to stay home, but continue to bring in an income. My love for animals has made Heart Strings Petsitting a successful company, with many wonderful clients through the years. Now, with two kiddos, 4 cats and one spunky black lab life is filled with never ending fun! Why I love dog sitting I have always been surrounded by dogs! As a little girl growing up, volunteering at several animal shelters in the area as a teen, becoming a veterinary technician after graduating high school and starting my business as a young adult. My experience with many different breeds is helpful in the pet sitting business. My experience administering medication With my many years experience, I am more than comfortable with giving medications to your pet. I have several clients that I administer insulin and subQ fluids to.

Jewlie and Heart Strings PetSitting have taken care of my animals for many years, and they are terrific! Once my pets hear that Jewlie is coming to take care of them, they are no longer scared of seeing the suitcases. One of my animals is very shy, while another is a little pushy, and Jewlie is able to keep them all happy. I don't think you could find a better pet-sitter, both for your pets comfort and for your peace of mind!
Jewlie has been walking or pet sitting our dog Jake for over 9 years. A year ago we added a cat to our family and she cares for him, too. Jewlie has been a great help in keeping our puppy, Zedd, a well behaved (and tired) dog over the years. She has a great attitude, always with a smile on her face, and she is one of Zedd's favorite people in the world! It's been a while since Jewlie's helpers have been in a stroller - but Zedd still perks up every time he sees a lady with a stroller across the way (his love of children is a direct result of Jewlie's visits, since we don't have any at home for him to play with)... I think he's hoping that it's Jewlie and the kids come to see him again. :) Thank you Jewlie for taking care of our fur-kids with such great care over the years!
