Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them.

Jessica took good care of our dog from Friday to Monday.
Jessica stayed at our house with our 3 year old Blue Heeler, Willa, for five nights. She is quick at communicating and takes pics and sends them so I know my fur baby is comfortable and being well taken care of. Our plans changed twice and she was willing/able to be flexible, which was so helpful. Willa was a rescue (Jan 2025) from a challenging situation and she wasn’t fond of people, kids, dogs etc. Jessica was willing to come and meet her a few months ago, and then keep coming over every other weekend to walk her, just to build up that trust and establish a relationship. Which made this recent dog-sitting possible and successful! Which warms my heart so much!!! Knowing my fur baby is learning to trust other humans and enjoy life, and it gives us the freedom to go away on vacation. Very grateful ☺️
An amazing dog caregiver. If you have any concerns having someone in your home do not be concerned with Jessica. The house was spotless, dog was brushed beautifully. Unsure if our dog even wanted us back.

I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.

A typical day
Everyday I take my dog on a 30-60 min walk, usually in the evenings. I accompany her outside during potty breaks and we will spend some time playing with a ball or chasing. I also spend part of my evening practicing some basic commands and working on different skills. On weekends I add an extra walk or go to a dog park, I won't take dogs to a dog park unless I receive permission from the owner.

Availability
I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet!
