Friendly and affectionate vet
Having had many animals during my childhood (guinea pigs, terrapins, budgies, hamsters) that were my own to care for from a young age, I understand the responsibility of caring for animals and ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing. I currently have dogs and cats at my family home and so have a versatile repertoire of animal care and can be trusted with a range of animals to look after. As a recently qualified vet, I feel very comfortable around animals and want to ensure you feel as though your pet is being cared for properly and safely. We have had CPR training for dogs and cats so in an emergency would know how to respond, and in general may be able to look out for and act on any other problems whilst your pet is in my care. I have a keen interest in behaviour and training so would be more than happy to attempt some low-level training with younger animals. Overall, this process is about ensuring you feel most at ease with me whilst looking after your pet, and I would love the opportunity to take care of your companion, so please feel free to message and ask any further questions!

Jessica was great. Penny had a lovely walk and lots of cuddles. She was very happy when I got home. I would definitely recommend Jessica and will be booking Penny in with her again.
Jessica was great, super communicative and sent lots of photos and left the house perfect also. I had to cut the stay short due to personal reason's and she was very accommodating of this. Much appreciated, would book again! X
Can’t recommend Jess highly enough - lots feedback with messages and videos - Polly is diabetic and can be particularly demanding - Jess was excellent with both cats and I could see by her videos they were very happy.
I would highly recommend Jess as a catsitter. She spent time with my cat to help him feel comfortable enough to stop hiding and enjoy some attention and playtime, after a few days he didn't hide at all. She made sure he had food, fresh water and a clean litter tray, and cleaned up his hairballs. She kept me informed with daily messages, photos and videos which was very reassuring. Thanks Jess 🙂
Great communication and it was lovely to get some videos sent through while we were away.
Jessica was very reliable and had a lovely calm manner with our two dogs. I felt completely relaxed while away and knew our pets were in very competent hands. I would highly recommend Jessica.

Schedule
I am a full time vet at a small animal practice in Taunton with most weekends and Wednesdays off. I have excellent time-management skills and will always be able to fit things around caring for your pet.
Prices include all fees.
