I've grown up around dogs and am passionate about giving them the care and love they deserve. I've always been an animal person having cats, hamsters, horses, guinea pigs and rabbits! My family have had pet staffys for many years, but all my friends have different breeds. Unfortunately our staffy, Martha, passed away at the age of 16 in September so we no longer have our own dog. I am a long-distance runner so if your dog requires plenty of exercise I'll happily take them out for hours running across the hills, or if you have an elderly pup we can go for a short stroll for them to enjoy the familiar smells locally instead. The weather won't ever stop me from getting outside and enjoying some exercise with a friendly companion. My years of experience come from having my own dog.

A big thank you to Jessica for how she looked after our three cats and house while we were away. All our cats are on medication, so it is a complicated affair doing their meals. Everything was great on our return and we will be happy to use Jessica next time we go away.

Jess is an incredibly kind and caring individual with a real love for animals, something that shines through in everything she does. She has looked after our dog on multiple occasions and always loves her company to the point that whenever her name is mentioned, the dog tilts his head and proceeds to get excited. Jess takes pride in keeping dogs entertained and well exercised, to the point that when we return he wants to stay by her side and show his love. Our dog always feels settled with her and I would recommend her to anyone who needs their pet looking after. She will do a fantastic job.
We had such a great experience with Jess, our dog sitter. Couldn’t recommend Jess more. Jess was incredibly friendly, reliable, and clearly had a genuine love for our dog. Our dog felt comfortable straight away, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We got regular updates, which was a lovely touch, and it was obvious our dog was happy and well cared for. We’ll definitely be using Jess again!

Schedule
I'm currently taking a career break, having worked in mental health forensic services for the last 9 years. My jobs have been emotionally demanding so I'm looking forward to taking a break and hopefully having a career change to work with animals more as that is where my passion lies.

I have a large fenced garden and plenty of space inside for your dog to get comfortable. I have 2 furry cat friends who are used to dogs being around, as long as your dog is okay with them too. We are all friends here :)

A typical day
Every visit is a mix of care, fun, and keeping your pet’s routine just right! For cats, I’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, and a clean litter tray- plus plenty of attention, whether that’s playtime with their favourite toys, cuddles, or just keeping them company (on their terms, of course!). For dogs, I’m always up for an adventure. I love running, so if you have a high-energy pup, I’d be more than happy to take them out for a run, explore some hills, or enjoy a longer, more active walk. If they prefer a slower pace, we can keep things relaxed with a gentle stroll and lots of sniff breaks. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll match their energy and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and having a great time while you’re away
