I've been lucky enough to have dogs my entire life ranging from puppies to full grown rescues. In adulthood, I've raised 3 dogs from 8 weeks old and additionally taken on two separate rescue dogs that we've loved the remainder of their lives. I have done training classes and 1-1 sessions with two dogs and carry the basics of training with me at all times. My last dog had severe medical issues at the end of his life including paralyzation in his hind end requiring 24/7 care and mobility assistance. This included hand feeding, diapers, and wheelchair training. While I wouldn't consider my experience as an expertise in any way, I have always been committed to prioritizing my animals needs and doing whatever needs to be done. I've also always had cats and still have one now that I was able to rescue as a kitten from the much acclaimed "Cat Distribution System" (finally got to my turn!). Currently, I have a 4.5 year old Chocolate Lab/Chesapeake Retriever mix, a 2 year old Golden Retriever, and an 11 year old Tuxedo cat. All of whom are the loves of my life.
