Hey pet parent! My name is Jessica. I'm here to be your pets new best friend. I have over 20 years experience caring for pets of all kind - including 4 years as a professional pet sitter. In addition to professional pet care, I have years of experience caring for my own personal pets and dog training! I am experienced in administering medication including insulin for our diabetic friends.

My background in Law Enforcement and the Military plus years of professional pet care allow me a keen insight when caring for your pets and your home. As I did with my business, I include a security check of your home at every visit. This security check includes checking all doors and windows to ensure they are locked, checking all faucets to ensure the water was shut off. Please note: this does not include any doors that are closed when I arrive. As a way to protect your privacy, if any doors are closed when I arrive they will stay closed. In addition to this, I do require a consultation or meet and greet a minimum of 4 days before booking. As Rover doesn’t have a specified service for a meet and greet, we will schedule this at a time convenient for both. Meet and greets available Monday-Friday 8 am- 12 pm.

When walking your dog, I need to know if your pup has any trigger objects and how they react to those trigger objects. Additionally I need to know if your dog is leash reactive, or dog reactive. That information helps me when walking them. Please list the following (prior to meet and greet) 1. Commands known 2. Does your dog have a bite history? 3. Does your dog have seperation anxiety? Don’t worry, it’s common. What calms them down? 4. If your pet (dog, or cat) needs medication you must indicate how much and how often. 5. If you need me to feed your pet one meal per day, please indicate how much food they get and where their food area is.
A typical day
When walking your dog I will always be aware of my surroundings and your dogs reaction or behavior towards those surroundings. If watching a dog at your home, my attention is fully focused on your pet. Including an abundance of love and affection, minimal training to keep your pets mind active and play time.

Availability
I will be available to care for your pets 7 days a week from 8 am - 10 am then evening visits from 3pm-7 pm. If you require a third visit, that can be discussed.
