Pet care experience
I have fostered kittens and puppies for over 12 years and have also worked as a veterinary assistant, dog walker, and pet sitter for over 5 years. Animals are an integral part of who I am, and I love each and every one like they are my own! I am skilled with animals that have special needs and can trim nails, clean ears, monitor wounds/surgical sites, and administer medication as necessary. I am an anxious pet parent myself, so I aim to provide the best care to keep you fur baby happy, comfortable, safe, and loved while you are away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

In my clients home I like to provide the exact same care and routines that the animal regularly receives from their owners, so I can minimize any changes in schedule that may stress out your pet. I also like to provide additional enrichment activities to encourage the animal to stay active and distracted while their owner is away. Furthermore, I will provide the same level of care that I would give to my own animals, as I love each and every pet I care for like they are my own. My goals are to keep your pet(s) happy, healthy, and comfortable and to give them lots of love and affection.

A typical day
It all depends on the species, but I love to provide every animal I care for with lots of love, attention, and quality time. Aside from that, I really enjoy using various enrichment activities and play time to stimulate the animals I watch. This helps to release any stress or anxiety they may have from their owner leaving and also allows them to exercise their brains and bodies.

Availability
I am a third year pre-veterinary student at UC Davis so I must attend class daily, however my classes are spread out and flexible (remote options available). Thus, I am able to come home often and spend most of my day at home with the pets.
