Hi, I’m Jessalyn! 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I worked at a veterinary hospital for nearly 1.5 years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments along with cats and other animals and I’ve been a trusted pet sitter and dog walker for over 6 years. Whether your pet needs a cuddle buddy, playtime, medication, or a calm and consistent routine while you're away, I treat each one like they’re part of my own family. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, special medical needs, and everything in between. I currently offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight care. I am flexible enough for last-minute trips or long-term bookings. I’m located in Fayetteville NC and happy to travel to meet you and your pets’ needs! Really laid back and calm towards all of my dogs. My GSD rescue that has a hard time accepting many people did accept her really quickly!! Came by even late at night to help get some exercise in for my doggo. Really appreciate the flexibility.

I’d love to know their age, breed, whether they’re spayed or neutered, and if they’re friendly with new people, kids, or other pets. Let me know if they have any fears or anxiety triggers like loud noises or storms. What’s their feeding schedule and portion size, how often do they go out or need walks, and are they crate trained? Do they have a usual spot where they sleep, and are they allowed on furniture?
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love to do little fun activities that match their energy and personality. If they’re playful, we might play fetch or tug-of-war, or go on a sniff-filled walk to explore new scents. For calmer pets, I like to do gentle brushing, give belly rubs, or play hide-and-seek with treats around the house for some mental stimulation.

Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a stay-at-home mom with a baby, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to visit pets a couple of times throughout the day for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. If the pets are kid-friendly, I’m more than happy to do in-home sitting and stay overnight in the client’s home to give them extra comfort and attention. While I can’t host pets in my own apartment, I’m very reliable for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting with plenty of love and care to give.
