I do not offer dog boarding for clients since I am not allowed dogs/cats in my apartment. I do however love to dog sit or just come by during the day to take them on a walk. I understand animals are a part of the family and it takes a lot of trust to allow someone else to take care of them. I always send you pictures of your pet when I’m caring for them. Not only does this assure you that your pet is in good hands, but who doesn’t love a random picture of their furry friend?!

Let me know if your dog: -Gets along with other dogs -Is leash trained -Has any odd behaviors -Has any special needs, allergies, or medications I sometimes like to run if the weather is cool and the dog can handle it. Let me know if your dog is energetic and can handle .5-1 mile runs or if they prefer slower paced walking.
A typical day
I love going to Forest Park in Ottawa! There’s a dog park there that’s usually not crowded, and tons of walking trails nearby to explore.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, and it's a passion of mine to love and take care of animals. For extra money in high school, I would dog sit for family friends while they were on vacation, and I still dog/cat sit for my friends and family occasionally. Recently, both of my childhood dogs passed away. I can't have dogs in my apartment and I feel a longing to bond and spend time with dogs. This job is a wonderful way to utilize my animal experience and also fulfill my need to interact with dogs.

Jessie has been cat sitting for me for the last 5 years. She always sends great pics and gets along with both my snuggly chill cat and my feisty playful kitty. I never come home to any messes and she brings in my mail. I highly recommend Jessie!
Jess loves my dogs like family, and she treats them as if they were humans, with dignity and respect. She is their best friend. 11/10 would recommend her for anything you need.
Jess is the absolute best. Any time we go anywhere and need a pet sitter, she is the first and only one we call. Our dogs, Bear and Brodie love her so much. Just the words “Jess is coming!” gets them excited. She just loves them as her own, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the times that she has helped us out. I STRONGLY recommend her anyone.
