Pet care experience
Hi there! I previously was with Rover for over 3 years and absolutely loved it! I am a huge animal lover and hope to be able to share that love with your fur baby. Growing up, my family had a bichon that took lots of medication, had seizures, and was on a strict diet, so I have plenty of experience caring for pups who require a little extra love and attention. I have also previously worked at holistic pet stores, so I have some knowledge about different pet conditions and how to care for them. I have cared for many different sized pups as well as caring for dogs with ages ranging from 10 weeks to 13 years. My current dog and best friend Bernie can be reactive and is very anxious, so for the safety of everyone I will not be hosting pets at my own home. I have also been a volunteer at a local large breed rescue for the past 3 years, so I have plenty of experience introducing myself to new dogs. I can’t wait to meet yours! :)

This was my first time using the app and Jenny set the bar high. Zoey was only there for a couple days but I could tell she had a blast and got plenty of love. Jenny was great about sending pictures and keeping me updated on how she was doing and even made Zoey a special treat for her birthday!

Given the extreme heat Arizona experiences, I can also provide quick outdoor potty breaks mixed with indoor playtime to keep your pup safe. I am a strong believer that there should be total trust and honesty between me and the dog owner. Please let me know if there are any concerns you may have about the visit (ex: health concerns, reactivity, resource guarding...) so that I can make sure I am handling them safely in different situations. It is also helpful to have a written description of their typical day (such as time they wake up, times they eat, and times they walk) in instances when I am providing long term care.
A typical day
When I am watching over someone’s dog, I like to be able to provide them with their normal/typical schedule. I can provide walks around the block, play with toys, go on hikes (weather permitted), or snuggle up on the couch. Every pet varies, so I always like to meet them first and to learn what they are like. I want them to have an amazing time with me, but also want to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe.

Availability
I’m currently working part time - weekday evenings and weekend mornings. My own pup gets me up at 5 am, so early mornings are no problem!
