Hi! I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. They hold a very special place in my heart, and even though I have my own fur babies, I never get tired of all the cuteness and joy they bring. I’m an experienced and caring pet sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your furry friend needs walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or just extra love while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. I have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments—from playful puppies who need structure and gentle guidance, to senior pets who need patience, a slower pace, and attentive care (including medication if needed). I also work well with shy or anxious pets and always move at their comfort level to build trust. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home. You can always expect thoughtful updates, clear communication, and someone who treats your pets like their own. I truly love what I do and would be honored to care for yours!

Hi Rover Team: I have known Jennifer for about 15 years. During that time, Jennifer has taken care of numerous animals, both cats and dogs. The ones I can speak clearly on are: Jennifer cared for my friend's daughter's cat for, I think about a year. Every 6-weeks the owner would leave to go out of state for about a month, and Jennifer was responsible for her cat while she was out of town. She trusted Jennifer and had her stay at her home during that time. The one that I can speak clearly about is, Jennifer looked after my daughter's cat for approximately 8-months while my daughter was in transition (moving) and was unable to take care of her cat. Jennifer took the cat into her home and took care of the cat like her own. Jennifer loves animals and since returning my daughter's cat, she got two of her own. Not surprising. Jennifer has a special, caring, nourishing place in her heart for animals and people. Undoubtedly, you will be extremely pleased with Jenn's services.
Jennifer watched my cat butternut while we were out on Holiday. She was very responsive, on time and a pleasure to work with. She clearly loves animals and we were so lucky to find her and have her come in and check on him while we were out.
We first trusted her as our children’s tutor, and now she’s become our trusted dog sitter too! She stayed at our home in La Crescent for 2 1/2 weeks during the holidays and took amazing care of our 3 dogs. She was responsible, communicative, loving with our pups, and treated our home with care and respect. We had complete peace of mind while we were away and came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs. There are very few people I trust with my furbaby, Archie, and Jennifer is absolutely one of them! She is everything you could want in a pet sitter — reliable, caring, communicative, and genuinely wonderful with animals. She’s stayed overnight with Archie several times, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such loving and capable hands while we’re away. It’s obvious how much she truly cares, and Archie adores her. I can’t recommend Jennifer enough!
Jen is a loving pet rescuer. She recently found and saved kittens who were dumped along with a fellow pet lover. They were able to find fur ever homes and she kept one kitten herself. Over the years we have cared for many doggies together.

I’m currently working part-time, which allows me to offer flexible availability for pet care throughout the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I’m also open to overnight care and happy to provide services either in my home or yours—whichever best suits your pet’s comfort and your needs.

I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care in both my home and clients’ homes, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. In clients’ homes, I closely follow instructions and maintain their pet’s normal schedule to keep them relaxed in their familiar environment. In my home, I offer a clean, peaceful space where pets are treated like family with plenty of care and attention. I currently share my home with two sweet, indoor teenage male cats, so visiting pets must be comfortable in a cat-friendly environment. In all cases, I focus on safety, consistency, and clear communication, with regular updates so you feel confident while you’re away.

To do something, Gentlemen, I love to play and stimulate the cats and dogs i take care of which includes walking, playing fetch with dogs, going to the dog park, hiking, and good old fashioned playing! With cats, lots of loving attention and grooming and lots of playtime! I like to stimulate pets physically and mentally, so they feel fulfilled. And have fun as well as receive rewards and treats.
