I'm a self-employed visual artist that works from home, so my schedule is open and flexible, ensuring your pets get around-the-clock care. I typically take dogs out in the mornings between 7:30-9am, mid-day walks around the lake (if possible) between noon-1:30pm, and pre-dinner walks between 5-6pm, but any custom needed schedules can always be discussed. I'm also available for home boarding (for dogs) and home check-ins (for cats) if you are taking a short trip or vacation and need someone reliable and trustworthy to watch your baby!

Your pets will have full access to my apartment that resides within a secure, dog-friendly building near Lake Merritt in Oakland. I have a super friendly dog to help keep your pooch company. The building has a shared, fully fenced-in yard for playtime. For cats, I am happy to regularly check-in at your home to feed and play with your baby. Your pets will be loved and deeply cared for just as my own pup and I love sharing fun photos of your pet to help give some peace of mind while you're away.

The building has a shared, fully fenced-in yard for impromptu playtime or we sometimes head to one of the many grassy parks nearby, or walk the lake if we're feeling energetic. :)

I've spent most of my life around animals, beginning with bunnies and hamsters and then my childhood dog, Rocky, that we rescued when I was 10. In addition to volunteering at the Berkeley Humane Society where I loved helping out with walks and training, I've also been a proud dog and cat mom over the years which has further strengthened my experience with training and caring for pets of all ages. Currently, I'm the proud mom of Pancho, a sweet 5 year old terrier mix that loves to make new friends! I'm also the go-to person for the care of my neighbor's and friend's dogs and cats while they are away. I live in Oakland just blocks away from Lake Merritt and several parks for doggie playtime. I cannot recommend Jennifer enough as a pet caregiver! Leaving Coco is usually stressful, but knowing Jennifer was looking after her put me completely at ease. She is incredibly loving, attentive, and responsible. She went above and beyond, providing daily text updates and playful pictures, and even spent extra time playing with Coco to make her purr ;-). When I came home, my pet was loving, calm, and clearly well-cared for. Jennifer treats every animal as if they were her own, and I will definitely be asking for her help again!
