Meet and greets should happen at a neutral location if at all possible. I love dogs, but I understand that they don't all automatically love strangers. I let the pet lead the introduction. If they're jumping into my lap offering kisses, I'm all about that! But if they're shy or wary, I know how to ignore them and let them come to me. With a degree in Animal Behavior and as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I am flexible and able to meet any dog on their terms.

Your dog has a schedule they’re used to, and I know how important it is that they can continue to trust their world, especially while their people are not there. That is why it is so important to me that we communicate extensively prior to the start of my stay. So, while maybe one dog likes to be to the local dog park by 7, perhaps another likes to sleep in and get a bit of breakfast before she does her lap around the block. Or maybe she is much happier to get all of that exercise thing done before the sun comes up to take advantage of cooler morning temps. My schedule is entirely flexible to fit your dog's needs. I like to take dogs places that they know and are comfortable going to. I like to explore neighborhoods, and the best way to do that is at the other end of a dog's leash.
