Your dog’s home away from home!
I have experience raising and training a dog from early puppy-hood to 2 years old. Since then, I joined Rover in May of 2021 but then took a break after getting our own dog. We still helped watch our friend’s dogs but more recently decided to use the Rover app again. My husband and I, currently live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. I will make sure to work closely with you to maintain your dog’s eating/exercising/sleeping schedule as consistent as possible to hopefully make their stay with me as comfortable and stress-free as possible! I’m also easily reachable and will send as many picture updates as you would like so you know your fur baby is taken care of. I make sure to understand your dog's needs and quirks and I make sure to keep the apartment clean and free from any choking hazards. We will also make sure to wear reflective materials or have a flashlight with us for any walks after sunset. We will make sure to understand ahead of time any concerns you may have and make sure they are addressed to the best of our ability. To ensure the best stress-free experience for you, your fur baby, and me, I do ask that your pupper is house trained, potty trained, crate trained (for when we need to go into the office for work) as well as leash trained. I typically will wake up around 7am to get ready for the day but am willing and happy to wake up earlier to take your pupper out for a quick bathroom break. We try to fit in at least 3 daily walks and can send picture updates during the day. During the weekends, we try to go on a longer walk somewhere or go to the local park. We always make sure to put the leash on before opening the door before our walks. We also like to make sure they are supervised at all times.

This is the second time Jennifer has watched our pup Tashi. She was also able to watch his buddy Murphy, a 13 year old Wheaten Terrier. Murphy is an older pup and needed additional care with more frequent potty outings, 3 different daily hand fed medication, and extra belly rubs! Jennifer did it all and more. She is great with the pups and reached out frequently with questions to ensure things were done correctly. She sends photos and updates through the day. It is so nice and relaxing to know your pup will be well taken care of when you have to be away from them.
Jennifer was caring and loving towards Caramelo. She sent updates and follow the directions about his care. The boarding was for one night but she and her husband made sure that Caramelo was happy and well taken care.

Jennifer takes super loving care of my 10y/o Petunia. Petunia's always happy when we arrive and she sees where we are! She usually tries to lead me into Jennifer's home. It's awesome having a dogsitter that our dog loves and feels at home with!!!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Jennifer!! From when we first talked, I felt completely confident that my dog would be in the best hands. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his routine, preferences, and quirks, which immediately showed how much she truly cares about the pets she looks after. While I was away, she went above and beyond to make sure my pup felt comfortable and happy. Every update I received included photos that made it clear he was being cared for as if he were her own. I feel so lucky to have found someone this dependable, kind, and responsible. I'd absolutely recommend booking with her!!!
Jennifer was so good with Gloria & made her feel very comfortable. Excellent sitter & highly recommend her.

Schedule
My husband and I work mostly remote and so we will be able to keep your fur baby company throughout the day and ensure the routine that your fur baby is accustomed to is maintained during their stay with us!

Safety, trust & environment
My dog, Duchess, gets along with dogs and will generally keep to herself. She sometimes stays with my parents sometimes when they miss her. Any time her and your fur baby are together will be supervised whether they are playing or eating. Duchess does not resource guard but to ensure a calm feeding we can feed the dogs in different rooms.
Pets
A typical day
We love to play with the dogs we watch, especially if you bring your dog's favorite toy. For dogs with higher energy, we like to take them out on longer walks during the day to get their excess energy out. Or, if they like to play fetch, we like to play fetch with them to get their excess energy out.
