Pet care experience
I have had a family dog all my life and have ample experience taking care of pets. Recently I got into pet sitting for 3 different people regularly in Thunder Bay, and have spent up to 2 weeks full time sitting for 3 pets (2 large dogs and 1 cat). I will send you photos and updates of your pets as much as you desire! I love going on hikes with dogs and spending time playing and learning with them. I genuinely adore pets and love taking care of them.

Jenna is the only sitter we trust with our two senior dogs—Ruby, our very spoiled 12-year-old Golden Retriever, and Opie, our 12-year-old Lab/Husky mix who has anxiety. Whether it’s daily walks, a weekend away, or a longer vacation, she always goes above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. She sends regular updates with texts and photos, which gives us total peace of mind while we’re away. Ruby and Opie adore her, and we always come home to calm, happy dogs—and a spotless house. Jenna is incredibly reliable, kind, and truly treats our dogs like they’re her own. We’re so lucky to have found her!
We have only amazing things to say about Jenna!!! She watched our dog and our cat simultaneously and did an amazing job! We got daily updates, the animals received constant attention, and she was adamant to give them dedicated and daily exercise. She was flexible and has excellent communication for planning your trip away. She traditionally stays in our home while watching the animals to keep them calm and comfortable in their normal environments, and our house was impeccable when we returned home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would HIGHLY recommend
I can’t recommend Jenna enough! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she truly cares for animals. Jenna has stayed at our home with our two dogs (golden retrievers) and cat several times while we were on vacation. She took incredible care of our pets while we were away, providing regular updates, photos, and peace of mind. All our pets are happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved in her care. It’s such a relief to know there’s someone so trustworthy and kind to count on when you are away from home.

I live in shared housing, therefore boarding is not an option for me, however, I feel that pets are more comfortable in their own homes anyways. I really genuinely could spend all my time with dogs, so I promise you your dog(s) will get all the love and spoiling they deserve. I have lots of walking trails around my house, but also can walk wherever is accessible and don’t mind driving with or to your dog(s). I strive to keep pets schedules as familiar as possible and provide them with lots of exercise and love.

Ahead of time, I like to know reactivity of pets to people, food, animals, cars, etc. Any medical conditions or injuries, as well as possible anxieties so I am aware of how to approach them and how to handle situations with care. Also require the number of their vet if it is overnight care.
A typical day
I love to see what tricks pets know when I am with them, and what I can possibly teach them in my time with them! I love going on walks, and when possible take dogs hiking or swimming. I will engage in tug of war or fetch if that it what they like to do, I love seeing their personalities that way. Additionally, they will get all the pets and loving they desire.

Availability
I am currently an Occasional Teacher for TBCDSB at the moment, so my work hours are fairly flexible and accommodating for caring for your furry friends. Most schools days start around 8am and end around 3pm, with a lunch break that I can use to let pets out if needed during the day.
