I make sure pets feel comfortable in their own space by giving them plenty of attention, patience, and companionship.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and specific needs. This includes feeding schedules, exercise preferences, any medical needs or medications, and how they typically behave with new people or other animals. It’s also helpful to know about any quirks, triggers, or things that help them feel more comfortable (favorite toys, sleeping spots, etc.). The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! For dogs, that usually means walks, playing fetch, and lots of outdoor time if they enjoy it. I’m also happy to tailor activities to their energy level whether that’s a long walk for more active dogs or a slower, relaxed outing for older pets. For cats and more low-key pets, I enjoy playing with toys, and plenty of attention (or space, if that’s what they prefer!). I also make sure to include lots of affection and downtime so they feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is to match each pet’s personality and energy level so they have fun while also feeling safe and relaxed.

I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up with both dogs and cats and continuing to pet sit regularly since I got my driver’s license. Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of personalities—from high-energy, playful pets to more shy or older animals that need a calmer, more patient approach. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I bring to each pet. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule, which means I can spend more quality time with your pet rather than rushing in and out. I’m very attentive to routines, behavior changes, and individual needs, and I make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe in their environment.

Jenna is the most caring and thoughtful person especially when it comes to pets! She has taken care of our small havapoo, Ace, many times. He can be quite an anxious guy, but Jenna makes him feel right at home!! We love Jenna and will always trust her to watch over our Ace. :))
