Pet care experience
I have always been a dog lover, and grew up with them around the house and the neighborhood. Last year, I adopted my first puppy that I've raised on my own and have loved every bark-filled, sock-chewing, yard digging minute. I have spent the last year in puppy classes, with trainers, at the vet, and constantly researching how to properly train, engage, communicate with and care for the love of my life. That means that I have also received tons of training in the last year that will help me be the best caretaker for your best friend! I have flexible hours two days a week, and am open to going beyond 30 minute walks and drop-ins to make sure your pup is cared for.

I do not have any breed restrictions- all dogs are wonderful in their own unique ways! I do like to know any quirks or behavioral issues that may arise and any tips your family uses to deal with them. Consistency is important with dogs, and I like to make sure I stay in line with your family's routines.
A typical day
I am happy to do anything from the standard neighborhood walk, to field trips out to the dog park or hiking trails! Your dog and I will enjoy lots of play time with toys and treats, practice commands, and get plenty of exercise and belly rubs. And of course, each pup and family has their own personality, so I am more than willing to follow any particular instructions or tips on your dog's habits, likes, dislikes, and restrictions.
