Before my first visit, I'll meet with you and your pet to go over their entire routine, from feeding schedules and walk times to their favourite toys and bedtime routines. I will stick to the schedule you've established for your pet. This includes feeding at their usual times and maintaining their training. I believe in open communication. You'll receive regular updates, photos and videos of your pet so you can see they are happy and well-cared for. When your dog stays with me, they become a part of my family. My home is a welcoming, dog-friendly environment designed to make them feel safe and comfortable. I only board one dog at a time, or dogs from the same family. This means your pet gets my undivided attention and isn't stressed by a crowded, kennel-like environment. My home is fully dog-proofed, with a securely fenced garden for safe play. We'll explore local parks and walking trails. For dogs that are social, I can arrange safe, supervised play with other trusted dogs but only with your prior approval. Regardless of the service, my goal is to provide a stress-free experience for your pet. You can trust that I will treat your dog with the same love, respect, and professionalism that I would for my own.

A typical day with me is all about combining fun activities with a structured routine to keep your pet happy, healthy, and stress-free. While the exact schedule varies based on a pet's age, breed, and energy level, every day is tailored to your pet's needs. I'm always observing their behaviour to make sure they're enjoying themselves and I'll adjust our schedule to keep them feeling happy and loved.

My latest companion was a Rottweiler, she was my best friend and anyone who has owned this breed knows they require a special kind of owner. One who is patient, firm, and loving. This experience, along with the years during my childhood and teenage years has given me a deep understanding of dog behaviour, from the biggest to the smallest. I had my girl from when she was 8 weeks old to the moment she crossed the rainbow bridge so am experienced in providing care to puppies and senior dogs. For puppies, this includes a consistent routine, basic obedience training, and socialisation. For senior dogs, I offer gentle walks, medication administration, and a quiet, calm environment. I’m comfortable and experienced in administering medications, including oral and topical treatments, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe hands. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. They're not just a job; they're a part of my family while you're away.

Jemma has spent her entire life around dogs. She was raised with dogs and has also owned and responsibly cared for her own dog, a Rottweiler for 8 years.
