Mature, compassionate pet sitter
I have raised (along with my grown son, daughter, and step-kids) numerous cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, tropical fish, and frogs, and I have years of experience caretaking my friends’ and family’s pets. I am comfortable and have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs and cats. I have a lot of experience administering oral medications to dogs, too. In my time working with Rover, I have earned all 5-⭐️ reviews! I understand that your pets are family members, and I will love and care for them as such. I love animals and will give them the time needed for walks, feeding, and play time! I don’t have pets of my own currently because I occasionally take long surf/fly fishing trips. Once we get to know each other and your pets are familiar with me, I can lock in your rate. I imagine I will have a small increase soon as inflation continues to rise. In September I am a college instructor teaching writing and literature. I teach two face-to-face courses on Mondays and Wednesdays in the fall from 10-2. I am available after that time, as well as all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as weekends. My 13 year old daughter lives with me every other week, and she loves to help with the pets during her stays. During summers I am available all days and holidays, but this summer my calendar booked quickly. I have reservations for 34 of 40 days from mid-July to late August. As soon as you know next year’s vacation plans contact me!

Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer boarding services. I live in a small apartment and the owners require additional deposits for pets to be on premises. In your home I try to maintain the atmosphere and vibe you have created for your pets. I am not a partier, nor would I bring other people into your space. My 13 year old daughter loves to help with the pets, but that is pending your approval and her schedule.

Jeff was great with our two dogs and even took the time to meet them before! He helped us out last minute and was much appreciated.
Jeffrey did a great job caring for my dog and apartment, I couldn't have asked for more. He was in communication with me on a regular basis and shared pictures. I would highly suggest to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet.

Our dog Benjamin had a great weekend staying with Jeff! This was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter, and he was comfortable and so well taken care of. We received frequent pictures and updates, and the house was left in immaculate condition. Thank you again Jeff for taking such great care of our boy and treating him like your own!
We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Jeff and our three dogs. He frequently communicated with us, sent photos, took great care of our house, and what more can I say! Definitely a high five and if we need help we will book him. You won't be disappointed.
Jeff did a great job communicating before, during and after our trip. He sent pictures and photos which always eases our minds. We had to bump our departure date two days due to unusually hot weather and our outdoor vacation and he was very understanding and accommodating. Jeff left the house clean and did mention the dog got some mud on the carpet which he had cleaned up. He was friendly and respectful. We would recommend him and will use him again ourselves.
