I grew up with dogs my whole life and have loved taking care of them and ensuring their needs are met. I like to ensure that I develop a good relationship with them. I have experience giving oral and topical medication, care for special needs dealing with aggression, reactivity and/or anxiety. I also have knowledge on taking care of elderly pets through my volunteer work at ElderDog Canada. I currently work from home 1-2 days a week and have flexibility during the time I am in the office so I am able to adjust based on your dogs needs. Weekdays are great for short visits and walks and weekends will work great for long adventures. I try to be active and would love to add more activities in my daily and weekly routine, dog (or cat) in tow! I make sure to research the area prior to my bookings to find the best place to walk or take your dog for an adventure!

I highly recommend Jeann for dog-sitting and walking services. We hired her fairly last minute to stay in our home and dog-sit our anxious medium-sized dog before leaving on vacation for 1.5 weeks. She was an excellent communicator, professional, asked lots of questions, clarified what normal behavior was for our dog while away, sent daily picture and message updates and she left the house spotless when she left. Our dog appeared very relaxed and comfortable with her. Jeann also agreed to do some extra house sitting tasks while we were away such as watering plants and taking out the recycling. We will absolutely be hiring her again. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby, Jeann!!

A typical day
I believe that a well stimulated dog leads to a calmer dog. I will make sure to give physical and mental stimulation to your dog throughout my time with them. I love bringing dogs to Macaulay, Park, Saxe Point, Gorge Waterway, Esquimalt Lagoon and so on.

Availability
I can take your dog for a walk twice a day for a minimum of 1 hour each and additional breaks mid-day as needed. I will adjust to your feeding schedule and perform any light grooming as required.
