My husband and I work from home and, therefore, we are available to offer a lot of attention and care to your pets. We hope to have your pets feel like family in our every day life while we are caring for them.

Safety & Exercise I have a fenced yard and we provide regular bathroom breaks and yard play. We also live by walking trails where your dogs can get some exercise in if weather permits. Please note that for the safety of the paws and health of coat, I prioritize supervised yard play or indoor enrichment during period of persistent/heavy rain. If your dog has specific high-energy needs that require daily walks regardless of weather, please share prior to booking so we can ensure that I am the right fit for your pup. Safety & Socialization We usually board a maximum of 5 dogs a time, but usually about 3 at a time, and so dogs that stay with us get a lot of attention when the love and care for the pups are spread out among three family members! We have a friendly cat that can keep any pet company! Philosophy of Care I utilize positive reinforcement and redirection to manage behaviors. I do not facilitate requests for aversive discipline (such as alpha rolls, physical pinning, or any behaviors that place dogs or my family at risk of reactivity). My goal is create a safe, low-stress environment for every pup client/guest.

Let me know if your dog has any special/specific needs that I should know about that are part of their routine (such as how long or short of a walk are they comfortable with). We are open to most dogs as long as they are safe around cats and older children (I have a teen daughter). It would also be helpful to know if your dog gets along with other dogs in case we are caring for multiple dogs or we run into some on our walks.

Depending on your dog's personality and interests, I am happy to play with your dog while at home or cuddle on the couch. They are welcome to hang out with me while I work! We also have a fenced yard where they can do their business or play and most evenings (or every evening if requested) we take a long walk by the bay on a walking trail near my home.

I grew in a family where we always had chickens, turtles, dogs, and so many animals. Taking care of pets feels like home to me! We have also enjoyed taking care of friends' pups here and there over the years. We have been on Rover for the past year and have loved it! However, due to engaging in travel and other projects, we took a break from Rover from May 2025 - Oct 2025, but we are now coming back mid November! Therefore, if you do not see recent reviews, this why :) Looking forward to come back to caring for pups as we missed them while being away! Please note that I work from home full-time and, therefore, have plenty of time to take care and play with pets in my care. In addition to attention from me, my husband works from home as well and our teen daughter attends school online and, therefore, they are both available to care for pups when I am on a work call. We hope that your pets will feel comfortable in our home as we have a fenced yard and we aim to provide daily walks on our nearby walking trails in our neighborhood. We also have 1 cat who keeps to herself and does not mind dogs. We have plenty of room for crates, if needed, and my family (husband and daughter) are happy to support in caring for any pup in our home. We hope to treat the dogs we are pet sitting as part of the family while they are with us.

Jeanette and her family were very warm and welcoming of my boys Louie & Koa. It was the first time my boys were cared for by a non-family member and I was just as anxious as the dogs but Jeanette was communicating with me throughout the day for updates and pictures of the boys.
Emily came back happy and healthy after her first overnight with Jeanette and Abraham!
My girls were active and engaged. Jeannette and husband came to appreciate their Doodle antics!
Jeanette and her family are wonderful! We have a 3 year old pup Winnie who is wary of strangers, and has had only one boarding experience before that did not go well. Jeanette is so friendly and communicative - we did a walk so Winnie could meet her and a weekend trial before a longer 9 day stay. Winnie was excited to go back into the door after the trial, and was not overly anxious on her return home. Winnie was not used to being around other dogs and Jeanette did research on her breed to help accommodate her, and was so communicative with updates the whole time. So grateful to have found a reliable, loving, and affordable place for Winnie!!
