Pet care experience
I’ve provided trusted pet care for neighbors and former coworkers during their out-of-town trips, including holidays. My responsibilities have included overnight stays, feeding, walking, and bathing pets of various sizes, breeds, and ages. Some of the breeds I’ve worked with include German Shepherds, Beagles, Bulldogs, Norwegian Elkhounds, Huskies, and Belgian Malinois - just to name a few. Each pet receives personalized attention tailored to their unique needs.

Jassmen is a class act and a wonderful caretaker for our fur baby. She was proactive when our pup had some digestive issues and treated her like she was her own dog. She sent daily updates and pics/videos, which was reassuring. Cannot recommend her enough!

In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I have a securely fenced backyard and use doggy gates inside to create designated spaces. The only other pets in my home are my two dogs, who are kenneled during initial introductions to ensure a smooth transition. I’m attentive to each dog’s comfort level and take proactive steps to make them feel at ease. As a former dog foster, I’ve received training in dog integration and desensitization, which has equipped me to handle multi dog households and help pets adjust to new environments with ease and patience.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible to provide the best care. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medical conditions, or behaviors I should be aware of. Share their daily routine, favorite activities, and any triggers or fears they may have. Additionally, let me know about their feeding schedule, dietary restrictions, and whether they are comfortable around other dogs or prefer more individual care. For safety reasons, all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention before boarding. I do not accept female dogs who have not been spayed. Please also let me know if your dog is house-trained and crate-trained.
A typical day
Although I work during the day, I make sure each dog still gets plenty of attention when I’m home. I keep treats and toys on hand, and if the weather allows, we go for walks around my neighborhood.

I recently started a new job; I’ve chosen to continue dog sitting because I genuinely enjoy meeting pets with different personalities. It’s helped me learn so much about different breeds and behaviors, and it’s something I find rewarding. Due to my schedule, weekday drop-offs are available after 5 PM, while my weekends remain flexible.
