I am currently working on a flexible hybrid/WFH schedule full-time (strategy & operations in tech), so pet care can fit in my schedule based on the desired routine & duties along with my schedule. I can work to accommodate the pet and their situation but please be as detailed as possible during our correspondence so I can provide realistic expectations.

If I am staying in your home overnight, I will always make sure to respect your space as if it's my own. I make sure to ask if anything is off-limits, any necessary procedures, etc. If I am only going into your home to perfom XYZ duties, I'll make sure to keep you posted on anything out of the ordinary. Please just inform me on your expectation and I will do my best to follow it.

I'll ask detailed questions once a request is submitted, but generally I like to know the following: • any special routines/details I need to know to provide the most seamless experience • preferences around the dog's walking style, how they like to play, etc. • if they are good/not so good at meeting new or unfamiliar people and other dogs • any special equipment I need to utilize and how to use it (ex. pronged collar, leader leash, etc.) • how much interaction the dog likes and how long they could be left alone at a time (if booking overnight stays)

I think this really depends on the dog, but I'm always open to taking your dog on their usual walking route, taking them to a new location, leisurely walking through the park or playing an intense game of fetch!

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Hello there! I'm Jason (29), born and raised in SoCal. In my free time I like to take pictures, play water polo, swim laps. watch TV shows or curl up with a good book in addition to spending time with any sort of pets! My experience spans taking care of dogs and cats with varying responsibilities and time lengths. I also have experience taking care of 1-2 pets at a time on Trusted Housesitters and Rover. During these duties, I've been asked to feed the pet 2x-3x/day, walk 1x-2x/day (for dogs), and perform clean-up duties (clean litter boxes for cats, etc.). I'm happy to share more about myself and provide references, but some selected experiences are below: • ~2 year old family German shepherd Once my family adopted a German shepherd, I helped care for him along with my sister. This involved walking him 1x-2x/day and feeding him 1x-2x/day. He has some anxiety and isn't the best around unfamilarity, so I have experience executing on a complex routine when it comes to introducing him to other dogs, using a pronged collar on walks and avoiding certain types of dogs on walks. I live away from home now, so I'm not taking care of him anymore on a day-to-day unless I am back with family. • ~15 year old Maine coon for ~2 years on-and-off, multiple months at a time: I took care of the Maine coon while living in San Francisco. The owners live in Canada for half the year to maintain residency and work authorization. As the caretaker, I was responsible for feeding the and refilling her water 2x/day, changing her litter box 1x/week and giving her a treat for her joints 2x/day. I also brushed her 2x/day and occasionally cut her nails. I was also an acting "house manager" where I sorted mail, watered plants (across 3 floors) and outside (plants had a varying watering schedule) and did some odd errands when required (ex. letting in repairmen into the house, holding FaceTime calls with prospective tenants). • Various pets on Trusted Housesitters Routine of these pets are similar to what's listed above, but I have experience caring for 1-2 pets (2 cats, 1 dog + 1 cat, 2 dogs, etc.) at a time. Sometimes the pets had varying routines (ex. 1 dog having a complex medication schedule with meals, dog would only go to the bathroom in certain locations, etc.).
Reseñas

Jason was great with Larry and very communicative!

Jason was a great communicator and was prompt with the pick up. I would highly recommend him as a dog walker.

Jason was great! attentive, communicative, it was like I was never gone!

Absolutely delightful!
