Pending an investigation from Rover. We came back to days worth of poop and urine in the house which had caused damage to our house. One of our dog has deep wounds all over his foot and leg, which have not been looked after and have become infected according to the vets. The bathroom next to the bedroom used by Jason had dried vomit or poop in the toilet bowl. Reports from our neighbours have detailed how the dogs were rarely seen going out for walks, only short toilet breaks. The dogs trackers also corroborate this. Our next door neighbour describes how our dogs were howling in distress and looking for water, left unattended in our garden. It’s a real shame as we thought, initially, that Jason was trustworthy and that his background as a vet was brilliant for us as two of our dogs had dealt with fractures in the past and we’re still recovering from this. We’ve tried to ask Jason what has gone on, but had no response. The more we hear from others, the worse the story gets. I was very transparent from the start about the needs of our dogs. Being three border collies, they require a lot of exercise. Luckily we live in a gated estate which has a large private field (all fenced), which means the dogs can be let off the lead with peace of mind. I’m just shocked and disappointed. I really can’t believe this happened while we were away.

Jason was an excellent dog sitter who built a great rapport with the dogs. He was friendly, reliable, and kept me regularly updated while I was away on holiday. His care and attention to detail really stood out—he clearly has strong knowledge of dogs and took the time to understand their needs. He also kept the house clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, the dogs absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend Jason and will definitely be booking him again in the future.
