Pet care experience
I recently moved to Bellevue, WA and live with my husband and father in law near Crossroads. I’ve been working in the animal care industry for over 6 years and have loved the opportunity to meet and care for all kinds of breeds and types of animals. I’ve mostly taken care of dogs and cats, but have a little experience when it comes to rodents, rabbits, reptiles, and birds. I’ve cared for elderly, special needs, anxious, high-energy, and quiet types of pets. I would love to continue becoming familiar with all varieties of dogs and cats, so any breeds are welcome! I am currently a certified Veterinary Assistant through the AVMA and have previously worked in a veterinary hospital setting alongside DVMs during my internship at Durango Animal Hospital in CO. I have fallen in love with my work through Rover and have decided to take it on full-time, so I don’t currently work as a Vet Assistant. I try to use my VA knowledge in my day-to-day work when it comes to administering medications, maintaining a clean environment, bandaging, proper handling, grooming, etc. I am currently in school pursuing a Bachelors of Animal Science to further my knowledge in the animal field! I am available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting though I prefer to house sit for under a week. I am more than willing to do mild grooming (bathe, clip nails, brushing), encourage socialization, play and give affection, exercise, clean up after them, monitor for potential health issues, etc. Pets are such important members of the family and It is very important to me that they are treated as such. I want to make you and your pet as comfortable as I can while you are away to alleviate stress and anxiety. I would want others to do the same for my pup too. I know every animal has their own personality and quirks, so when you shoot me a message, please let me know a bit about their behaviors and routines so I can figure out the best way to accommodate and communicate with your pet. I received my VA certification on November 22, 2018, and am dog/cat CPR certified as of January 2018.

Amazing as always for taking care of our Poptart!
This was our first time getting a sitter so I was super nervous, but Jasmin was a godsend. She was punctual, sent us detailed visit info and pictures and went above and beyond for the well-being of our kitty. Our kitty took to her immediately, which gave us extra assurance that she was in good, experienced hands!
Jasmin was absolutely amazing taking care of and giving our older cat medicine. Attentive, kind, and great updates. Hopefully we can use her again in the future.
Really wonderful experience with Jasmin - she regularly sent detailed updates on my pup and you could tell that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with her. There was regular playtime and plenty of walks! I was nervous that maybe she would be scared of Vinny but that didn’t happen at all and they ended up getting along great :)

I live very close to Crossroads park and Bellevue in general has a lot of parks to explore! My pup is very energetic when he gets the the chance to spend time with someone new so they will have a great time socializing!

I have availability during the week, though I am attending school online to pursue a BS degree. My schedule is relatively flexible, but I do have a few recurring weekly walks.
