I've been around cats and dogs all my life, and one in particular that made me realize I wanted to work with animals. I unfortunately had to give up after I became homeless, and I've been told that I did an incredible job training him. He is the reason I have dedicated my life to the goal of dog training and opening a shelter/rescue. I've sat for many people over the years, and I'm exceptional at understanding a dogs feelings. I make sure they feel comfortable and happy, never fearful or sad. I don't look at myself as above any creature, but socially the dog must be at the "bottom" of the pack/family to ensure everyone's safety, especially the dog's. I don't mean as in alpha vs beta, dominance and aggression. I prefer the calm, assertive, and non violent approach when it comes to training, backed by modern dog behavioral science. I have a daughter who I'm adamant about teaching proper boundaries with animals, and teaching her to love and respect all creatures. She's a precocious, head strong, and wild little girl, and she absolutely loves cats and dogs. I also offer training for your babies should you need it. If your dog has trouble listening; pulling on the leash; dashing out of the front door; resource guarding; aggression; whatever the problem behavior is, I can help you train them to behave the way you need them to for your safety, other people's safety, and most importantly for their own safety.
