Even though requested, I didn’t receive any photos nor updates. I called and texted him the first night, but no response. It really worried me. He didn’t seem to really like my dog. Merely tolerating for the job/money. Maybe he just didn’t like small dogs. His profile was off. He did NOT have a fenced yard. He said he didn’t smoke in the house, but it smelled of 3rd hand smoke which is a serious health problem for me. On the second night he texted me that he got called in to work at his fast food job. He said his parents would watch my dog. While I’m sure his parents are perfectly lovely people, I had not met them. And they didn’t know important health and behavior information particular to my dog. So be forewarned that Jared will pass off your dog if he gets a better offer. I was apprehensive when I met Jared, but I still felt that my dog was safe and in the air conditioning. Because I was working a job in extreme heat, and couldn’t have my dog with me because of the heat and long hours. I decided to go pick up my dog early anyway. I have used Rover several times in the past and always met wonderful caregivers. I won’t let this one negative experience dissuade me from using them again.

Jared took great care of our Bailey. We will use him again!

Jared is awesome with our dogs! He has watched our babies several times and I feel comfortable leaving them with him. He has positive energy!
