We are the typical pet owners who treat their "children" as another loved family member. Our large, fenced yard and our cozy, animal friendly environment is perfect for your "child" while you are away. Our pet (and yours) gets exercised 2-3 times a day, swimming is always allowed if ok with you, and someone is almost always home to play, love and protect your pet. As an owner of Doodles and Mutts- exercise is demanded on a daily basis- so your pet will reap the benefits of our energetic pups. Your pet will receive tons of attention and affection and will be cared for and loved as if they were our own. About this sitter: I am a self-employed woman with a penchant for dogs. I treat them as my children and ensure they are well exercised, loved and have plenty of fun. Why I love dog sitting I have had many dogs in my life and have often helped individuals train their pet. I have extensive (20 years) basic training experience and love to spend time making sure a pet is happy and healthy. About my yard I live on a full acre and my dog/house guests have access to almost every inch of it. There is plenty of room to safely roam the fenced 1/2 acre and also plenty of room to play ball, frisbee or just run about!

I am happy to highly recommend Janette Gagnon to care for your dog in her home. She will give them the love, affection and attention they need while you are away. She has an energetic and playful border collie, and has a large fenced yard to run & play. You can rest assured your dog is in a good, caring home, will get plenty of play time and attention and will enjoy a vacation of their own while there.
Our dog spent the weekend with Janette, and we couldn't have found a better 'home away from home' for her. This is an oasis for any dog: a large, fenced yard provides plenty of room for exercise and entertainment, and her dog is great company for visiting canines. This is a true pet paradise, and we'll be recommending Janette's pet-sitting services to our friends.
Janette is great with dogs and has a real knack for handling them in any given situation. Her home and yard are the perfect setup for a pup vacation. There is plenty of room to run and play outside and the inside of her house is very comfy and cool for the summer months. I always trust my dogs with her!

I prefer dogs without aggression issues. All breeds welcome! No dogs that bite or dogs that do not get along with other dogs/animals. Dogs must be updated on all shots, flea/tick medicine and house/crate trained. I prefer that any visitor not chew up my furniture or shoes. If you think your dog MAY enjoy chomping on a sneaker, please be honest- I can deal with that if I am aware up front.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live less than a one mile from the GT Bray Dog Park where my dog can go play or just walk around. If your dog is not worn out by playing in my home yard, trips to the park are a definite possibility. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In a pet bed, our bed or on our couch! Time I'll spend with your dog Depending on the day- at least 6 hours and up to the entire day. When I am away, the doggies will be resting comfortably in our home. They will be allowed to roam freely, unless otherwise specified, and nap anywhere they feel comfortable.
