I love to get to know pets and their preferences, for example, one of my cats wants to constantly be carried around like a newborn, but the other likes to have more space and will initiate when she wants to be petted or to receive attention. I love going on long walks and exploring new areas, so I would be very excited to make sure your pets get plenty of attention and time to play and walk outside. I have experience walking energetic dogs such as a Belgian Malinois, small dogs like Chihuahuas, and even dogs who may get a little bit more excited when given attention like Bully mixes. I love giving pets treats when they’re being angels as always, but I’m very aware of the limit when it comes to overfeeding them.

Let me know what your cats and dogs are like in terms of their behaviour, habits, any allergies, and personalities! If there are areas your pets need training in, like cats not scratching furniture or using the litter tray, or dogs learning to sit when it comes to waiting to cross busy roads, let me know! I’d be happy to try and train your pets during my time spent with them. But also let me know whether they have any dietary requirements or preferences when it comes to treats. It would be useful to have their vet information on hand when I first look after them, whether it be a house sit or a walk. I carry an emergency vet card with me at all times, as I like to be prepared should any mishaps happen. I have had a lot of experience with looking after my family dogs the past few years, and I have had the most unexpected mix of different dogs, making me very adaptable to their needs. So don’t be scared to get in touch, no matter the breed! :)

When looking after dogs, I take great care in knowing their feeding times, the activities they like to do, and their favourite toys to play with. With my owns dogs, I like to take them on runs with me, because they can be very energetic. This means a morning run at a local park for an hour, which is great as I’m training for a half marathon, but also great for them as they get to spend plenty of time outdoors.

I have raised a puppy previously, training them both at home and on walks. I also own to cats who I love more than anything. One of them was quite challenging when I got her but has developed into the most friendly and social girl. I was not informed that she was a feral cat when I adopted her, but in the space of a few months I managed to train her to be calm and trusting around other pets and people, to use the litter tray and to not resort to hissing or scratching when she needs space. I’m very open to looking after both dogs and cats, as I have experience with both and love spending time with pets!

As always, Jane was a wonderful dog sitter. This was our very first overnight sitting and Jane provided stellar care and updates. Bertie clearly had a great weekend and is happy and healthy!
Jane did an overnight stay with our dog and once again was amazing. She walked him both days and kept him entertained whilst we were away. We got lots of pictures from her and we arrived home to a very sleepy dog after all his fun! Highly recommend
We have been on holiday for the past week and Jane walked our dog for us whilst we were away. She was absolutely amazing, we got lots of pictures and updates whilst we were away. Our dog is very energetic and can sometimes be a handful which we were quite nervous about but he loved his walks that much he began waiting by the door for her arrival. Would definitely recommend, thank you again Jane!
Jane has again taken stellar care of Bertie! Took him on an hour-long walk, even though his instructions only require a 30 min walk, and offered to take him on another. Bertie was happy and snoozing away, which is exactly how we want him at the end of the day.
