I currently have a lot of flexibility in my job that allows me to work from home. This means I have the ability to care for your pet and also provide walks in the morning, lunch and evening. I’m outdoorsy and a keep fit kind of guy, so weather does not prevent me from getting my steps which is beneficial to me and your pets. Cara is unable to work from home but she makes it for our evening walks and our weekends are centred around our dog, we don’t go anywhere without him and even if we do he is left with our parents, not home alone.

A typical day
My Groundhog Day is usually walking Jarvis before work, walking him at lunch and the you guessed it, walking him in the evening. Mine and my partners live is centred around him and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Pet care experience
Dogs have been in my life for as long as I can remember but since meeting my partner (Cara) 13 years ago, we have had the responsibility of looking after our own dogs We lost our Australian terrier 6 years ago but now we have a cocker spaniel who is 5, very well trained with recall and tricks, although very excitable but this is due to the love he is shown regularly. Our dog is walked three times a day so you can guarantee any pet left with us will get exercise if desired. We are dog and animal lovers so they’ll be in great hands.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Jamie and his partner! They kept us updated with loads of photos and videos and it genuinely looked like he was having the best time! They took him out to lots of different places with their own dog (cocker spaniel), so it wasn’t just a case of sitting at home all day - he was out exploring, getting plenty of walks and attention, and looked so happy and cared for. They’re a lovely young couple and it’s obvious they really care about the dogs they look after. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of Buddy - he'll miss you!
Jamie was lovely, I knew Sherlock was in safe hands from the start, he had plenty of walks during his day care and loved spending time with Jarvis the spaniel too. Jamie also has a big garden which I’m sure Sherlock enjoyed having access to! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
We have had several sitters from Rover and have been very pleased with them all. This was a fairly last minute request to board our pup Ziggy for 4 days. So lucky to find Jamie and Cara. 100% + recommendation on every aspect from prompt booking communications, arrangement to have an initial meet and greet walk together with them and their lovely friendly dog Jarvis; thorough prep arrangements for Ziggys stay; great and frequent photos and messages, all very reassuring for us. Most important of all our dog Ziggy had a wonderful time as part of their family, he was happy and relaxed and came home content. Do not hesitate to book with Jamie, perfect Rover hosts.
