Jamie is very skilled with dogs. She has managed my group of show dogs beautifully. She even did training on some of them. Jamie also handles dogs for showing, maintains her own dogs and has experience with cats. She is competent, reliable and efficient.

I specialize in IN-HOME pet care. I feel like this is the best option because it's always hard on pets to be separated from their families and IN-HOME pet care will minimize and limit stressors on your pet... such as removal from their home... strange surroundings... unknown smells... animals they don't know. IN-HOME pet care allows your pet to stay in their own home... their own space... surrounded by what is familiar and comforting to them. I have just found that pets are happier this way. It gives them the much needed reassurance that their family is coming back for them.

A typical day
I breed, handle, condition, and show German Shepherds and Icelandic Sheepdogs. I keep to myself and am more introverted by nature, but I still like a good time as much as the next girl. I enjoy playing games and mind enrichment exercises with the dogs... when the day is over I enjoy just sitting back and watching a movie in the company of my four legged friends, pretending that they care, let alone are watching, the movie.

First... don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm easy going, laid back, friendly and approachable. If you have a question... just ask... Second... Pet care IS my life... it's what I enjoy doing and it's what I'm good at. I try to circulate my "rounds" to make sure animals... especially dogs... are let out every 6-8 hours. Puppies and senior are visited more frequently. I specialize in KENNEL management... feel free to reach out for specific rates. (Note: I leave very little footprint wherever I am, regardless of time, place, season, or circumstance... the utmost care will be taken in all areas of the home... Your home is treated with the same level of dignity, cleanliness, care, and respect as I do my own). Independent grooming appointments can be arranged with advanced notice. Any special instructions must be discussed in advance and may be subject to additional charges.
