Pet care experience
I've cared for and have been around dogs/cats most of my life. I've had several dogs growing up and find comfort & warmth in nurturing their well-being. I'm passionate about all animals and cherish the moments I'm able to spend with them. I live in a peaceful, tranquil home with a fenced-in yard in a quaint little neighbourhood. There are also several parks around for those pups who need to exert and unleash lots of energy! I work from home so I am available 7 days a week. I've administered medication to those less fortunate and am well-adversed in diffusing potentially problematic situations. My home has no pets, so your little furry companion won't feel intimidated or uncomfortable.

Jamie was absolutely amazing! She treated our dogs like her own, giving so much love, attention, and care. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I can’t recommend Jamie enough and will definitely book with her again!
Jamie is absolutely amazing and I feel lucky to have found her. My pup Oakley is shy and reserved when it comes to new people, but she took to Jamie right away. Her home was welcoming and a great place for Oakley to stay- a big beautiful backyard to run around, and she loved following Jamie around and hanging in the house. Jamie sent me lots of pictures and I could tell Oakley was loving her time with her. I will definitely use her again in the future!!
Jamie was amazing with our dog! She kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. Our pup is usually very attached and gets anxious when we're not around, but with Jamie she was totally calm and happy! Would definitely make another booking!
Jamie was an amazing sitter for our dog Clover. She spoiled her with attention, sent lots of pictures and videos and we felt totally secure with her watching our little dog. Jamie was very patient with Clover even though she (Clover) was not always on best behavior. We appreciate everything that she did for us while we were away on vacation. We will be using her again in a couple of weeks.

I'd love to know any specifics about your pet prior to hosting them so that I can deliver the best care possible. This entails any medications needed, stress factors, likes & dislikes, personality traits, daily routines/schedules, dietary requirements and anything else that will cater to the well-being of the animal. Being a happy and comfortable pup is the most important thing to me!
A typical day
I love being active outdoors and having a companion makes the activities much more exciting. Pets can expect to go on some exhilarating adventures and discover new sniffs in new areas; I live a block down the street from a huge park (Mitchelson) where we can go exploring and have loads of fun playing fetch. I also live very close to Firemen's Park for a lovely stroll in the forest. My fenced-in backyard provides a fabulous option for the pups that want to lounge outside all day and my large Maple tree covers a significant portion of the yard for those hot Summer days. Toys are a must to keep my guests entertained and breakfast and dinner are always served on time. Daily snuggles are also part of the agenda to ensure your pet is receiving lots of love so they feel safe and right at home.

Availability
I work full time from home so I can give my full, undivided attention to my house guests! I'm willing to walk them up to twice a day if needed, bathroom breaks at any hour and of course, I always leave room to play a little ball! Pets are allowed on couches and in the bed to gain their trust and provide comfort in their home away from home. For those pet parents who feel their pups may fare better in their own home, I've got you covered! The beauty of working from home is that I can easily work from your home too!
