I’ve spent my entire life around animals, starting with the two cats, two bearded dragons and many rabbits I grew up with. For six years, I shared my home with a Golden Retriever and a British Shorthair, so I’m well-versed in both maximum energy and maximum sass. I understand that every pet has a different personality. I’m comfortable going for a long, active walk with a Golden and giving a cat the space it needs while making sure it’s fed and happy. I’m reliable, I actually enjoy the company of animals, and I’m happy to stick to whatever specific routine or quirks your pets might have while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
I only offer care in the pet owner's home, as I find animals are much more relaxed in their own environment. I’m extremely respectful of your space and mindful of security. Having a Golden Retriever and a British Shorthair of my own, I know how important it is to keep their existing routine; feeding, exercise, and meds exactly as they expect it. I’m happy to send regular photo updates so you have total peace of mind while you're away.

James was fantastic sitting for our dog Marshall. He was very conscientious following any requests we had and sent us regular updates while we were away. Marshall can be nervous with new people but James handled him brilliantly and they clearly got on very well. Would definitely book James again!
James was amazing with our two papillons. He came round for a meet and greet and completely won them over with his enthusiasm, care and intuitive playful nature. They are very different characters, so to achieve this has proven difficult for previous sitters and their owners too. He did it effortlessly. We knew immediately that we could comfortably leave our dogs in his capable hands and fully enjoy our day away from them. He followed every wish we had to the letter and kept us informed with a set of insightful notes and charming photos. I would whole heartedly recommend him to other pet owners.
Amazing sitter, did a great job looking after our 2 cats. Gave us great updates whilst we were away and was super sweet with both Betty and Gus!

Schedule
I work a field-based role Monday through Friday, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. Unlike a typical office job, I have the ability to adjust my whereabouts and check in on your pets when they actually need it, rather than just before or after a 9-to-5. I’m also fully available on weekends for longer walks or boarding.
