I work for myself, so any animal that needs care would be worked into my schedule. I can do stop-ins, walks, play time, anything that is needed for your pets to be taken care of. As my calendar fills up, I ensure the times requested for pets come first before overloading my schedule.

I would take care of pets in my clients' homes. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and loved while you’re away! I enjoy walks, playtime or fetch with their favorite toys, enrichment games such as hiding treats to find or sensory games, cuddle time or scratches, and lots of attention and affection. I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and entertained!

I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with many years of experience in the veterinary field and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, giving me a strong background in animal care and behavior. I have raised and cared for dogs for over 20 years and love playing, walking, pottying, and spending quality time with them. I am also trained to help animals in emergency situations. My dog, Pico de Gallo, is the love of my life, and I would treat your dog/cat/animal with the same care, patience, and love as if they were my own.

Jalyn is an incredible pet lover and caretaker. She has done an outstanding job looking after my cat Bean. When she was watching Bean, she played with him, cared for him, and made sure he was fed/watered. My cat was very thankful and needed the love and care she provided while I was on my buisness trips. She watched him for multiple days and weeks at a time and was super reliable, and always messaged me with updates on how he was doing.
