Hello! I'm an experienced pet sitter and dog owner of an 8-year-old Japanese Akita. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities, including puppies, seniors, large breeds, anxious dogs/cats, and pets that require oral medication. My background includes fostering dogs, caring for barn animals and rescuing animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to provide patient, reliable care while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and provide regular updates while you're away. I currently offer dog walking, pet visits and house-sitting services. Please note that I sometimes work 8 hours shifts during the week, so pets should be comfortable alone during that time. Or I offer a one time fee to request off work to be fully present with your loved ones.

When I am coming to your home I will take the time to understand your dogs routine and needs so that I can best give you pet familiarity while you are away. I believe sticking to a dog’s routine is so important to keep them feeling safe and well cared for when the owner is not present. The same would go for cats as well as. When animals routines are disturbed in my experience that leaves room for torn up furniture of excessive barking, unusual peeing on floor, etc. I believe when in doubt it’s always best to contact the owner right away to ensure the best solution is found to help your pet get back on track.

Schedule
I currently work full time at a coffee shop in Belmar at an upmost of 8 hours a shift. For overnight stays I work best with animals that free roam during the day that I can walk and play with before or after work and spend the night with. :) Some of my shifts are only 4 hours though so it’s not an everyday thing.
