During my high school years, I attended a BOCES program specifically for small animal care. There, I learned how to handle and restrain many animals such as cats, dogs, and other small friends! I have three rabbits, two dogs, and my kitty. I have loved animals my entire life, and working with them has always been my dream! I hope to in the future, own a grooming/ dog daycare business! I have been employed as a supervisor at a dog daycare/ grooming salon for almost three years, so I am able to handle around up to 30 dogs by myself! With this job, I am able to determine the body language of dogs, and understand what it means. The dogs at my job have become my own, and I know every little detail about them! I have worked with all sorts of dog breeds, big and small & old and young. Loud barking, rough playing, and big messes do not bother me whatsoever. I am also a baby groomer- hoping to gain more skills soon! I can bathe and dry, clip and dremel nails, and do light scissor and clipper work.
