Pet care experience

Walks, cuddles & tail wags guaranteed!

I’m a lifelong dog lover and currently the proud owner of two pups; a playful 3year old and a cheeky 1year old. Having raised them from puppyhood, I know what it takes to keep dogs happy, safe, and well exercised. I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs of all sizes and temperaments, so I’m comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether it’s a gentle stroll, a high energy walk, or some cuddle time, I’ll make sure your dog feels loved and cared for just like my own.

Jacqueline cared for our dogs as if they were her own. She was really kind and thoughtful and sent us lots of updates and photos putting our mind at ease that they were being well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book our girls with her again.

Jacqueline was fab with our elderly Labrador Gwen! She did a fantastic job keeping us updated daily on Gwen and the recent heatwave we experienced. Thanks Jacqueline! A job well done! 😊

House Sitting • May 06, 2026

Jacquline was brilliant with my 2 Mini Daschunds, Nev and Chilli. She provided regular pup dates with pictures of my Fur babies, provided regular walks and understood the needs of a dacshund which involved lots of cuddles and people contact. She arrived early and a good handover was left for a seamless house sit. Jacqueline also left the place tidy and my 2 fur babies were well looked after. I would strongly recommend Jacquline for house sitting or looking after your dog. Many thanks Jacqueline.

Jacqueline had our nervous, playful 7 month old cockapoo for a 2 night stay. She was honestly amazing throughout the whole process, constantly keeping up updated with lovely photos and Cooper settled in so fast, especially for his first time away from us! We will definitely use Jacqueline again and would recommend her to anyone!🥰

Schedule

I currently work part time and mostly from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit dog walks and pet care around my schedule. This means I can be available during the day for walks, drop ins, or extra cuddles when needed. Because I’m not tied to a strict 9–5, I can adjust to suit your dog’s routine and make sure they get the attention and exercise they need. Additional Services:- Training support - I specialise in helping dogs improve loose lead walking and calm behaviour on walks. During their stay I can include structured training walks to reduce pulling and build better habits. Price:- £15 per day (2 structured walks) £10 per day (1 structured walk) Freshen up before pick up - Includes a bath leaving your dogs coat smelling extra fresh and a brush through your dogs coat. Price:- £10-£20 based on dog size

Safety, trust & environment

My dogs are part of the family, so their safety and happiness always come first. I have a secure, fenced garden where they can play safely, and I also use a crate as a calm, cosy space when they need downtime or rest. I make sure they get regular walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, as well as sticking to routines for feeding and training. I’ll care for your dog with the same love and attention that I give my own.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me focuses on keeping dogs happy, relaxed, and mentally stimulated. I put a lot of emphasis on enrichment rather than just basic exercise. This can include things like scatter feeding, sniffing games, and using enrichment toys to keep their minds active. Walks aren’t just about distance, I allow plenty of time for dogs to sniff and explore at their own pace, which is really important for their wellbeing. I adjust the walks depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and what the owner prefers. Throughout the day there are opportunities for play, rest, and calm interaction so dogs feel comfortable and at home. I always try to follow the routine that the dog is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific care instructions. Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to suit their personality and needs, making sure they get the right balance of enrichment, exercise, and relaxation

Before booking, it’s really helpful for me to know a few things about your dog so I can provide the best care possible. Please let me know if your dog has any medical conditions, takes medication, or has any specific care needs. I’d also like to know about their usual routine, feeding schedule, and whether they are fully toilet trained. It’s important for me to understand your dog’s behaviour as well, for example, if they are reactive to other dogs, people, or certain situations. This helps me plan walks and interactions safely. You can also tell me about their favourite activities, toys, or enrichment they enjoy. My goal is to keep their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible while they’re in my care.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
