I am mostly retired from self employment with occasional work that only takes me out the house an hour at a time and my husband is always home just after lunchtime from his work .. . With enough notice I can rearrange any work I may have to suit any day care arrangements . Any house visit drop ins or walks can be negotiated to suit too.

We have a fully enclosed safe garden & if needed , can accommodate a crate from the owner , should the dog feel happier .. our own in the past have had access to all the house if we went out , failing that, the kitchen diner which is more contained . We have beds in most rooms . We also have a fully enclosed large porch to the front of the house , making it very secure . In day care we can accommodate 2 dogs from same household too .

We will need to know of any particular behaviours your dog has prior to visit so we can accommodate them adequately. Our 4 rescues were all different & handled with whatever worked best for them individually. Keeping a happy dog is priority .

According to a dogs needs we can arrange regular walks including field work on a long line , if safe & a variety of road walks too with plenty of smells . Plus enrichment in the house & garden with a favourite toy , snuffle mat etc .. plus comfy beds for resting

Both myself & my husband have rescued Stafford’s the past 27 years , the bull breed being our speciality as we love their characters , not put off by their strength & have nurtured even the most broken ones back to know love again . We use positive training & love to gain trust & loyalty . We don’t use crates unless a dog is happier in it.. we have covers on our settees so they are welcome to lay with us or on their own. We don’t currently have any rescues so are open to looking after your furry friends if needed. Being a bull breed specialist we can cope with strong pullers on walks but always use collar & harness for control . We are also used to non social dogs & can happily walk them away from other dogs , keeping them safe . We have a quiet balanced home offering stability & nurture while in our care with varied walks . We require your dogs to have up to date vacs & be flea free for day care where they will get undivided unshared attention tailored to their needs . We can accommodate additional dogs from same household . I’m also available for drop ins within my area to feed , toilet & make sure all is well for your pup , while your out . I am an insured dog sitter & walker & have completed Behaviour & Dog Psychology course. If you have an emergency & need help the same day , I’ll try to help if I’m free .

Winnie had a lovely day with Jacqueline. There were toys and treats ready for her when we got there. She had a nice walk and they kept in contact throughout the day. I was very impressed with how Jacqueline looked up Cane Corso so she understood the specifics of the breed and behaviours. Highly recommend these obviously true dog lovers
I could not have been happier to leave my little one with Jacqueline! Such a caring, calm and knowledgeable lady. I felt confident he was safe and understood and that he would get the best care. I was worried about leaving lily with someone other than family for they day, BUT I needn't have worried, Jacqueline was so lovely, sent me updates through the day, pictures of lily enjoying her stay, gave lily a lovely walk, Jacqueline even gave lily the crusts of her toast. I'm so reassured now that should I need lily looked after again, I will definitely book with Jacqueline. I can't thank her enough xx
