Jacob grew up with cats, he is so loving towards them, when my sister is away she leaves her Russian blue cat with us and she follows Jacob around where ever he goes, they are inseparable, he is desperate for a cat and told him once he has his own place he can get one, for us we travel too much for it to be fair on them. Jacob would be a great person to house sit or just look after anyones cat as he has so much love to give. I can't comment on dogs as we have not been around too many dogs, but assuming they were loving then I think Jacob would again be perfect.
